Would you trust your servers, the kitchen and the restaurant itself when your sense of sight is completely inhibited?
Please give a warm welcome to Glenn Domingo who will be giving us a list of restaurants to try! So if you ever find yourself hungry in Pampanga read on! - CJ
So my penchant for Kbeauty has always come hand-in-hand with Korean cuisine. I'm always on the lookout for food and restaurants that I haven't tried. I wanted to try one of the many Korean restaurants/cafes in Ortigas and I decided on Sopoong Food House. I wanted something cold that day (we went there during the heat wave here in the PH around March or April) so cold desserts were the goal.

Reddimart President Jerbie Ong (right) introducing Sosro and getting the brand, that was originally from Indonesia, here in the PH.
While waiting for the big celebrity ambassador reveal, I tried Sosro's Freeze variant.
Suprise! It's Sofia Andres (donning her ice goddess garb) this generation's' teen queen, chosen as the Sosro's official ambassador.
From Manila with Love Team Represent! :)) lol
One of the highlights was the surprise performance of UDD to cap off the night! Amazing as always UDD!
Where to check out Sosro : SM Hypermarkets, Landmark, Sta. Lucia Grocery, Tropical Hut, Hi-Top Supermarket, Walter Mart, Pioneer Center, and other leading supermarkets.
Have you tried a bottle? What kind of flavored drink do you grab from the convenience stores/supermarkets when you want to chill out?

PS. As always, keep your sugar levels within a reasonable limit! Also drink plenty of water to wash down the sugar and to effectively hydrate yourselves. :*

Do you use emojis? What am I asking, a lot of people use emojis (Yes Skype and Yahoo Messenger users, you too!). From people peppering their messages with a couple to actually sending emojis to accurately describe what they're feeling/doing/wanting etc. It's pretty normal to send a *pleading* emoji instead of typing out please oh please oh please let me borrow the car tonight.
And Krispy Kreme knows the pull of emojis in giving a little flavor to how we communicate.
This 2016 you can decorate your doughnuts with meaningful (or just nonsense, depends on how you use it) emojis through Krispy Kreme's emoji sprinkles — part of their #EmojiMagic year-long campaign.
Aside from the usual emojis available all-throughout the year, there'll also be seasonal/holiday specific emojis available... Will they have one for this coming Labor Day though?
Me and my brother went to Krispy Kreme's flagship store at BGC to go to their "Emoji Park" last February 20th to witness the #EmojiMagic first-hand and to #ShareTheKK. We took a look at the different doughnuts, played some games, checked-out the design-your-doughnut booth, took pictures at the emoji wall and enjoyed the general atmosphere.
The kid had a lot of fun...
Ok fine. I did too. I mean both of us basically consumed our sugar limit for the day within a few minutes so we were pretty jacked-up.
If you're near a KK check out the emoji doughnut sprinkles and #ShareTheKK with everyone!
Do you use emojis? Which are your most used ones?

CJ
PS. Sugar is addictive. Only take the appropriate amount within the daily limit. For the most part, I only get my processed sugar fix in coffee. Sugaaaar why can't I quit youuuuuu? *shakes fist in the air*
Create-your-own and made-on-the-fly burgers aren't new to the food scene. But one that's at the same price point (plus actually good) as the heavily processed and controversial fast-food burgers - now that's something new. Well at least to me.
After a few hours of hard-core and sweat-induced lollygagging, my sister and I went to Megamall's (Makati) food area (directly facing the supermarket) to satisfy our hunger and settled upon Fuel Burgers for
The wait wasn't that long and the process was fairly easy since the menu wasn't complicated as let's say Teddy's. I take so long ordering from there; so many options. (one might argue that it's too many.)
The decent-sized meal was plated on a wooden board with parchment paper to soak up some drippings. A+ people. The plastic utensils were a little useless since they can't cut
The vegetables still had some bite to them, the patty was seasoned enough and cooked well. Not the glued together kind of meat (you know the kind). The buns were soft, fluffy and had some denseness to it. The oatmeal crumbs on the top made for a good looking bun.
As for the fries. They were okay. As standard as I fry can be.
All in all it was good. The meal with the drink I believe was around Php 190? Give or take Php 200. It was absolutely value for the money. 100% I would go there again. Don't expect a ton of seating though as the spacing allocated to each "restaurant" at the food area is limited.
I don't know if it was only a promo at the time but do check it out if you're nearby and craving for some cheap but very decent burgers.
